New Life

Our friends invited us for dinner.

We met them last summer at the organic store where I work. 

This summer they're working on some farm projects.

When we got there, she was giving two baby goats a walk.

She showed us their orchard and garden.

They have about 50 chickens too.

The land where they are staying is located on the top of a hill and has a lovely view.

We sat together for dinner at the picnic table looking down their orchard.

They are very delightful and energetic.

I'm excited to see their new life.

先日、オハイに住む友だち夫婦の家へ遊びにいってきました。

彼らとは昨年夏、私の働いているオーガニックのお店で一緒だったのがきっかけで仲良くなりました。フランス人の奥さんはアメリカとフランスを行き来していたのですが２ヶ月ほど前にこちらへ戻ってきて、ここ丘の上のファームで新しく生活を始めたところ。

私たちが着いたとき、彼女はちょうど２匹の子やぎをお散歩させているところでした。

これから果樹園やファームでいろいろな果物や野菜を試験栽培してみるのだそう。

新しいにわとりも５０羽ほどいてなんだかとても活気があって楽しそう。

夕方になると丘の上からの景色がとても素敵で、景色を見下ろしながら外のピクニックテーブルで夕食。とてもたのしいひとときでした。

新しい生活を始めた彼らはとても輝いていて素敵でした☆
